Milestones
1938: Establishment of Helliniki Halyvourgia, the first steel plant in Greece and one of the country’s largest industrial companies. The historic Roupel fortress is built in Macedonia, Northern Greece using rebar made by the company.
Projects
Hellenic Halyvourgia is a major supplier for a number of large-scale development projects. These include among others the National Museum of Contemporary Art, the National Gallery, the Athens College Kindergarten, as well as all highway and railway infrastructure projects currently under construction in Greece.
