Hellenic Halyvourgia: New name and new corporate identity
Merger of Halyvourgia Thessalias and Helliniki Halyvourgia
Hellenic Halyvourgia: Halyvourgia Thessalias and Helliniki Halyvourgia have been trading under the new trade name since December 1st, 2006, two years after the acquisition of the later by the former.
The new company is ranking among the largest 20 Greek industrial firms based on sales. With a vertically integrated production capacity reaching 1.000.000 tons, Hellenic Halyvourgia holds a significant position in the Greek steel market.
Hellenic Halyvourgia counts in total more than a century of experience, having supplied historic projects with steel concrete reinforcement, such as the Roupel fortress in Macedonia, the first building blocks in Athens, Rio-Antirio Bridge, many Olympic projects, Spata International Airport, Attiko Metro, Egnatia Highway etc.
Hellenic Halyvourgia sets as its strategic objectives to continue to develop its position in the Greek market, to produce new innovative products, and to expand its activities in the Balkans and the rest of the Mediterranean countries.
