The Quality Control laboratories, are staffed with experienced and highly skilled personnel and are equipped with the most up-to-date trial and measurement devices and machinery.  Rigorous quality control procedures are applied to all production phases, from raw materials to the release of the finished product. A quality label is attached to the product and a quality certificate is issued with the chemical and mechanical properties of the steel.

Both upon raw material entry in the plant and during production process, the steel is controlled for possible radioactivity, apart from the relative certificates required from suppliers of the scrap.

Hellenic Halyvourgia operates an organized design office which systematically monitors technological developments in the field, so that all its products meet the latest requirements.
