10.03.2026: FREE BRAILLE LESSONS IN VOLOS SUPPORTED BY HELLENIC HALYVOURGIA.
An eight-week initiative titled “Introduction to Braille” is currently underway in Volos. The program aims to promote knowledge, accessibility, and social inclusion for people with visual impairments.
The seminars take place in a space within the Regional Administration of Thessaly building in Volos that has been made available for this purpose. The initiative is organized by the Parents’ Association of People with Disabilities of the Magnesia Regional Unit, in collaboration with the Association of People with Visual Impairments of Magnesia “Magnites Tyfloi” and with the support of Hellenic Halyvourgia. As the Deputy Regional Governor of the Magnesia & Sporades Regional Unit, Ms. Anna-Maria Papadimitriou, noted among other remarks, this initiative practically demonstrates the value of inclusion and the equal participation of all people in society.
