May 6, 2025: EMMANOUIL KARALIS – FROM THE TRACK TO THE PAGE AND INTO OUR HEARTS
With great emotion and pride, the new book by Nikos Michalopoulos titled “Emmanouil Karalis: When You Look from Above” (Dioptra Publications) was presented on Tuesday, May 6, at the Athens College Theatre. The book is dedicated to the life and journey of Olympic pole vaulter Emmanouil Karalis.
The event opened with a touching video highlighting key milestones from his childhood to his greatest athletic moments. The evening was honored by the presence of political, sports, and cultural figures, including the Prime Minister.
The event concluded with heartfelt applause and deep emotion, celebrating an athlete who continues to inspire with his values, strength, and determination.
